First Deputy Prime Minister Bakytzhan Sagyntayev participated in the first meeting of the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union.
The agenda of a regular meeting of the Council of Commission involved actual issues aimed at effective implementation of the EEU activity.
Preparation of Draft Protocol on accession of Kyrgyzstan to the EEU was the main issue discussed at the meeting.
We took mutually acceptable decisions and, in whole, draft protocol on accession of Kyrgyzstan to the EEU has been prepared.
Expanding the EEU ensures additional stability for development of economy of the member-states of the Union.
During the meeting they discussed the issues of development of international cooperation with trade partners of each member-state and the EEU in whole. The issue will be considered at the Eurasian Intergovernmental Commission of Heads of States on 6 February.
According to Sagintayev, the consensus was reached on implementation of pilot system of product marking in light industry for 2015-2016. In particular, at the first stage they decided to mark the goods such as clothes and fur products.
The course of preparation of draft Custom Code of the Eurasian Economic Union has been considered. Its adoption will allow custom declaring to be exercised in electronic format.
Then, Action plan on main directions of development of the “Single window” mechanism was approved to simplify the trade procedures and decrease burden.
